Made in Korea
I've always wanted to try Peripera's lip tint after seeing it on social media so much. Then i saw Edward Avila's lip swatch videos on their new velvet range and i decided to get one to try. Peripera lip tints are very popular in Korea and they have come up with quite a few different ranges, ie. tint water, ink moist, ink velvet and the newest variation is ink airy velvet.
Pigmentation
Peripera's lip tints are very pigmented. The colors are very bright and pretty.
Texture
Texture of this range feels mouse-y and applies easily and smooth. The doe-foot applicator is decent and works well.
Finish
It gives like a soft matte finish that is very pretty. It is much better than NYX's soft matte lip cream, which i can't wear at all because it dries to be completely matte and parch looking, even with lipbalm underneath. NYX looks really dry in a bad and weird, terrible way on me.
Lasting power
It stains the lips for a few hours. With my normal eating and drinking habits, it wears off eventually.
Packaging
The packaging feels sturdy, i have no complains. It doesn't look pretty due to the price point of this product.
Smell
It has an old lady, rose scent thats alittle off putting. Its not very strong but i can smell it for around 5 minutes after application initially. But after some time of using it, it doesn't bother me anymore.
Overall, i like this product and would recommend it. I like to wear it as a stain (deliberately dabbing most of it off so that it is left with a light tint of color) instead of the full on bright color. You can also wear it with a gradient effect. It looks pretty all three ways.
I have very dry lips and this product may dry a tiny bit, Alot of times, if it wear it by itself, without a lipbalm underneath, my lips will chap during the day. But my lips tend to chap even when i'm not using this product.
